~uXc~ TS rules:

Nicknames

* Names that are sexually explicit, racist, discriminatory or otherwise insulting are not allowed.

Language

* English is the preferred language on the teamspeak server. Using other languages is allowed when talking in private or when all people in the channel understand that language. Using another language to exclude other people in the channel, or to dodge teamspeak rules is not allowed.
* No sexually explicit, racist, discriminatory or otherwise insulting remarks.
* No flaming or swearing. (~uXc~Whitetiger excluded!)

Conduct

* Our teamspeak server is primarily for use by ~uXc~ members, players on ~uXc~ servers.
* Using our teamspeak server for clan practice, meetings etc. is not allowed unless you have permission from one of the ~uXc~ members to do so.
* Playing music over teamspeak is not allowed.
* Using teamspeak to reveal in-game enemy positions and strategies while you are dead or sharing strategic information with the opposite team is not allowed.
* It is not allowed to accuse other players of cheating without providing some sort of proof.
* Sharing server passwords with non-~uXc~ members is not allowed.
* Advertising products, sites, clans and services not related to ~uXc~ is not allowed.
* Joining teamspeak while being drunk or otherwise intoxicated is the only time you may join our TS.
* You are held responsible for whoever uses teamspeak on your computer / account. This includes swearing little brothers and farting hamsters.

Using Channels

* Chit chat and other off-topic talk is primarily to take place in the lobby for non-registered users and the community room for registered members
* Game channels are primary only used for game communication. Limited chit chat is allowed but should not interfere with game play.
* Make sure to switch to the appropriate channel when playing a specific game(server). For games not listed join the 'other game' channels.
* If more then 8 people are in a game channel, players must be prepared to split and remain in the channel of their in-game sides. (allied / axis etc.)

Microphone activation

* We strongly encourage the use of 'push to talk' mode as a way to activate your microphone.
* Using 'voice activation' mode is allowed when using a headset or headphones, but make sure to set up sensitivity in such way that your microphone isn't triggered by your breathing or your neighbours chainsaw.
* Using 'voice activation' mode while using speakers is highly discouraged, since it often causes your microphone to be activated by in-game sounds, and can cause irritating echo effects.

Admins

* Teamspeak channel admins and server admins are recognizable by a (CA) and / or (SA) tag behind their nickname.
* Our admins reserve the right to warn and subsequently remove anyone from teamspeak for any disruptive behavior or rule breaking.
* If you are banned from the forums then you are no longer permitted to join our teamspeak server.

~uXc~ plays for fun, We don't take games too seriously and our servers reflect our policy of having fun. The rules are pretty simple - don't be a jerk!

* No cheats or hacks
We support pbbans and punksbusted in banning cheaters from all game servers with a global master ban list.
* No cvar tweaking
Play the game using the normal UI settings instead of a tweaked up fragfest deathmatch in radioactive legoland.
* No team killing or team maiming
Deliberate team killing or maiming is a kickable offence. Repeat offenders will be banned.
* No abusive or offensive console chat, voice comms or player names
This includes race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and swearing. The ~uXc~ game server admins are free to use their discretion in determining what is and is not acceptable.
* No spam chat or spam votes
If you spam the console with repeated "I need ammo" requests dont expect anyone to respond to you. Do not make repeated vote requests. If your vote is unsuccessful, drop it and either join in or leave the server.
* Respect other players
Player harrassment or offensive behavior will not be tollerated. Respect all the other players on the server.
* Avoid spawncamping
Being spawncamped is not fun. Our servers reduce the effectiveness of spawncamping by increasing the invincibility period for spawning players. Frequent and deliberate spawncamping is a kickable offense.
* Play fair and have fun
If you're not having fun raise a complaint on our game server forum board!

If another player on the server is ignoring these rules AND a ~uXc~ member is on the server then please do not try to call kick / ignore votes. Please chat to the ~uXc~ members about the offender and let ~uXc~ members deal with it. Thanks.

The ~uXc~ game server admins are free to use their discretion and will usually issue a warning before kicking offending players. Verbally abusing server admins is treated as a severe offence. If you wish to question an admin decision, think about it for half an hour and post on our Kick and Ban Disputes forum board.
Kick Policy

Most of the time people on the servers have been kicked, it has been for obvious offenses or small amounts of time. Please try not to blow a fuse if you get kicked, especially if your actions were obviously against the rules. Most of the time simply saying "yeah ok that was stupid of me" or "I don't agree with that rule, but I know thats your rule and your server" is the correct way to deal with the problem. Just move past it and play the game, and most of the time nothing more will come of it.
Ban Policy

Repeat offences will normally result in kicks for longer periods of time. If you've suddenly found yourself banned from the servers, you know you've done something severe. The admins here are about as lenient as you'll find, and we fully discuss kicks and issues as an admin team so we're all on the same page with regards to repeat offenders. So once you get yourself banned, it's very unlikely that the decision will be reversed.
Kick / Ban Dispute Policy

Should you think that you have been unfairly treated you are welcome to seek resolution. Beware though that you MUST follow our kick / ban dispute policy. If you do not follow the correct procedure you will be ignored, blocked or banned from all our website and game servers, probably not the outcome you wanted.
